Take a break to feed your stomach and a good cause at Iron Horse Tavern in downtown Morgantown to support WVU Neuroscience’s Feed Our Brains campaign.
On Wednesday, Mar.27, from 5 – 11 p.m., stop by and mention “Feed our Brains” when you pay your check. The restaurant will contribute 10 percent of your dinner check to fund the outreach program.
Feed our Brains is led by students and faculty as part of the WVU Neuroscience outreach program. The program helps pay or reduce costs associated with overdue student lunch balances at public schools in Monongalia County.
Along with each donation to the school, Neuroscience graduate students visit the schools and host a “Brain Day” comprising neuroscience related games and activities teaching how the brain works, showcasing how food is important in fueling the brain and inspiring a love for science.
