WVU Information Technology Services will expand ID card services provided at the current HSC Service Center on Monday, July 25 to better accommodate Health Sciences Center employees and students. This will eliminate the need to travel to other locations when you need a new, chipped “smart” card.

The ITS Service Center in Room G 101 North is open 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Mondays through Fridays. Staff at this location will be able to produce the smart cards required at an expanding number of HSC and main campus locations with new electronic door locks and printing access.

To take advantage of this, visit the new Service Center during business hours or submit a photo online at idphoto.wvu.edu and pick up the card later.

All new faculty will need their offer/acceptance letter when obtaining a WVU ID to verify their credentials.

If you are updating from an old card to a smart card for the first time, there will be no charge. If you are updating an existing smart card with a new photo, however, there is a $30 production fee.
