The WVU Health Sciences & Technology Academy (HSTA) Alumni Association and Minorities Association of Pre-Healthcare Students (MAPS) are collecting cold weather items for a local initiative hosted by the United Way of Monongalia and Preston Counties.
Accepted items include gently used children’s and adult’s winter coats, jackets, hats, scarves, gloves and shoes.
Donation bins can be found at the Mountainlair, Health Sciences Center and Evansdale Crossing. Those who donate can receive one community service hour per clothing item through iServe. There is no limit to the number of donated items, but students can earn a maximum of three service hours. Please label your items with your name to receive service hours.
