"Gaming in Action: An Educational Approach to Innovative Learning"
A WVU Health Sciences faculty development program is being offered via Zoom.
The session, "Gaming in Action: An Educational Approach to Innovative Learning," will be held Monday, Sept. 14 from noon to 1 p.m.
Presenters include Megan Adelman, PharmD, BCPS, BCGP, CDE and Lena M. Maynor, PharmD, BCPS.
Following this knowledge-based program, participants should be able to:
- Discuss challenges and benefits of incorporating gaming into learning.
- Review different gaming strategies to incorporate into the classroom.
- Demonstrate ways to design an educational game that will increase learners’ knowledge and retention
