Special guest: WVU President Gordon Gee
West Virginia University President E. Gordon Gee will join Health Sciences Vice President and Executive Dean Clay Marsh, M.D., and WVU Medicine-WVU Hospitals President and CEO Albert L. Wright Jr., at a Health Sciences Town Hall on Wed., March 28 at noon in Okey Patteson Auditorium. The event is free and open to the public.
Discussion will center around how we’re growing our networks to make sure West Virginians have access to the care they need, constructing new spaces to provide the best in women’s and children’s care, heart and brain health and in cancer treatment, conducting revolutionary research that addresses real issues such as the opioid epidemic, stroke, diabetes and obesity, and how the University is collaborating with state partners through WV Forward to advance prosperity.
Much of the session will be a Q&A with audience members. Wear your best bowtie, and bring your questions!
