Leslie Miele was recently named associate vice president and chief strategy officer for WVU Health Sciences by Health Sciences vice president and executive dean Clay Marsh, M.D. Prior to assuming her role at WVU, she served as the executive director of strategic planning and performance for the University of Pittsburgh.
Miele’s previous experience includes over 17 years with WVU Health Sciences and WVU Medicine where she contributed in a variety of leadership positions that focused on strategic planning, project management and new program development. She received a Master’s Degree in Health Information Systems and a Bachelor of Arts Degree in English Literature from the University of Pittsburgh.
