Fifty eight of the 72 recent graduates took the exam and there was a 98.3% pass rate for first-time candidates. This is above the state and national averages (92.8% and 90.6%, respectively) and higher than last year. We won’t know the complete picture until the rest of the graduates take the exam in the fall, but the summer cohort did very well!
We had a mix of students taking the MPJE exam in West Virginia versus other states. The pass rates were 80.8% for in state and 87.5% for out of state. The state and national rates were 83.9% and 84.2%, respectively. This is a higher in-state rate compared to previous years and the out of state rate continues to be above the national average.
