September is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month. NCPA and APhA-ASP are participating in the event Go Gold for Kids with Cancer! Below are some activities associated with the fundraiser, that will be happening on September 18.
Wear GOLD and gather for a picture in the HSC Memorial Gardens on Wednesday, September 18th at noon! Students will be able to record 1 hour of community service for attending and wearing gold.
Before and after the photo opportunity, NCPA will be selling gold awareness bracelets for $1.00 each in front of the HSC bookstore. Don’t forget yours!
APhA-ASP will be fundraising by selling cookies! ASP is now taking orders for everyone’s favorite sugar cookie with gold icing! Cookies will be sold for $1.00 each. Please place your cookie order on the google doc below by Tuesday, September 17h at noon. You can Venmo APhA-ASP @ APhA_WVU or contact MJ Braham at mjbraham@mix.wvu.edu for payment.
All proceeds will be donated to the American Childhood Cancer Association. ACCO provides support and resources to families and kids with cancer at no cost to them!
