The Women in Science and Health Awards honor the remarkable achievements and contributions of women at WVU Health Sciences.
The Early Career, Mid-Career, and Advanced Career Awards recognize women who have demonstrated exceptional impact in areas including as diversity and inclusion, education and mentorship, research and scholarship, leadership, and service to the state of West Virginia.
Current and retired women faculty members of HSC are eligible for nomination. Submissions are encouraged from employees, students and trainees across all Health Sciences schools. Members of the WISH Awards subcommittee are not eligible for nomination.
The WISH Awards process has been updated to allow year-round nominations. The process is now more streamlined to encourage greater participation. Beginning Dec. 1, you can log on to the Health Sciences Faculty Development website to submit nominations.
