Are you an undergraduate student interested in a healthcare career serving in a rural community? Thinking about medical, dental or nursing school? The WVU Institute for Community and Rural Health RUSH program is a great introduction to practicing in rural communities. Selections will be made by November 2024.
Shadow a rural practitioner (family medicine, dentistry, nursing, or physical therapy) for a total of 20 hours during specific dates agreed upon by the participating practitioner and the student. Students will receive a participation award of $300 after shadow completion. If you have questions, please email icrh@hsc.wvu.edu.
