New employees at West Virginia University’s Health Sciences Campus in Morgantown, including J.W. Ruby Memorial Hospital and other clinical facilities associated with WVU Medicine, are invited to learn more about the community at an upcoming Employee Life Fair. The free event will take place Wednesday, July 20, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Health Sciences Center Memorial Gardens green space located outside to the left of the Pylons entrance. In the case of inclement weather, the event will be in the Pylons Lobby.
Hosted the by the Health Sciences Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Welcome and Inclusion Subcommittee, the event is designed to welcome all new WVU Health Sciences and WVU Medicine employees and introduce them to the diverse organizations and businesses within the WVU and Morgantown communities.
More than 20 vendors are scheduled to attend, including the Center for Community Engagement, Monongalia County Health Department, Morgantown Public Library, Visit Mountaineer Country Convention and Visitors' Bureau, and WVU Extension.
The fair was developed following a survey of Health Sciences Campus employees with the support of WVU Talent and Culture.
