Welcome to the School of Pharmacy's Commencement page. On behalf of Dean William Petros, the School's faculty and staff, we look forward to celebrating this milestone with you, your family and your friends.

When and where is the commencement ceremony?
The WVU School of Pharmacy, School of Dentistry, School of Nursing and School of Public Health Commencement ceremony will take place at 12:00 p.m. at the WVU Coliseum. The ceremony will last approximately two hours.
What is the physical address for the WVU Coliseum?
3450 Monongahela Blvd, Morgantown, WV 26505
Are graduates and faculty registration required?
All graduates and faculty must register with their school/college to participate in the ceremony. The registration links have been emailed to eligible graduates and faculty. If you did not receive the registration link in the detailed email, please email Brenda Higa at bhiga@hsc.wvu.edu.
Are tickets required?
Tickets are not required to attend. There is no limit on the number of guests allowed.
What time are graduates, PharmD legacy hooders, PhD faculty hooders, and pharmacy faculty to arrive? Graduates should check-in at the Basketball Practice Facility 60 minutes before the ceremony time. No one other than the graduates, the PharmD graduate's legacy hooder, the PhD faculty hooder and the pharmacy faculty will be permitted into the check-in area.
What time do the doors open for guests and how do they enter the Coliseum?
Guests may enter through any of the gates at the Coliseum. Doors will open one hour prior to the ceremony start time. Seating is on a first-come, first-served basis. Seats cannot be reserved or held ahead of time. Guests should not approach the stage to take photos, present gifts or congratulate graduates. For more family and guest information, please click here.
What is the recommended attire for graduates?
All graduates must be in full regalia (tam, gown, tassel with hood) for Commencement.
All graduates who have earned hoods will be hooded. Hoods need to be carried in and draped over the left arm. Hooders should process in and sit with the graduate they are hooding.
Where should I park?
Free parking is available at the Coliseum. There will be parking staff and University Police officers stationed to help direct you to the nearest parking area. Please click here for maps and parking.
What lodging is available?

Will there be a professional photographer at the ceremony?
West Virginia University has partnered with GradImages to help capture the special memories of graduation. A photograph of each student will be taken as he or she crosses the stage. Other shots may be offered, depending on the venue.
Graduates will be sent electronic copies of their photo proofs to the email address indicated by the graduate. You may pre-register your information by clicking “Pre-Registration” on the GradImages website.

What is the clear bag policy?
To provide a safer environment for guests and to ease entry into event venues, a Clear Bag Policy has been implemented for all commencement ceremonies.
Will there be a live stream of the ceremony?
If you cannot attend the ceremony, you can watch a live stream of Commencement. Live streaming of each ceremony will go live a few minutes before the ceremony time. Please visit https://webcast.wvu.edu.
